HighBreedMusic is a one-of-a-kind curated platform built to showcase one of the most inspiring and powerful conscious movements in music and culture today.
This passion-driven grassroots effort brings to you, in its rawest form, some of the most captivating artists from New York City and abroad. Spanning a variety of musical influences and cultural backgrounds, these artists all possess a truly intangible gift: the perfect harmony of substance, genius, and magic.
Unlike other platforms, we present groundbreaking music and classic talent on a level playing field, chosen based on two factors: mastery and authenticity. Whether the artists are undiscovered, or already world-renowned, our focus always remains on the music; not the clothes, not the money, not the celebrity; simply the music and the compelling spirit of those personalities who create it.
Our team operates as creative professionals by day within this real-world community and these artists all know or know of each other, and they know us. We are a family.

A TRUE GRASSROOTS PRODUCTION
HighBreedMusic is not run by a network, consumer brand, or business startup and especially not by major record labels, however we aren’t here to criticize commercial music (we party to it just like anyone else).
Rather, we are providing an important safe space for listeners everywhere to experience music that is untainted by industry. This platform is for those who don’t buy into the mindset of corporate-funded art or accept television, radio, and blog reposters as their exclusive source of new music today.
This series is, in its essence, free from greed by its very design because love breathes a magic into music that money simply can’t. That’s what makes this so special. We take a different approach: We create these videos with the artists, as friends. For free.

NO GENRES
On our platform, all musical styles are welcome and supported, especially the ones that can’t be categorized. In our opinion, genres have not only served as a reductive marketing tool but have also created the unintended consequence of dividing us based on our culture, age, or location.
Some of the most influential musicians and vocalists in history were the ones who “drew outside the lines” — the ones whose ever-evolving creativity refused to be defined by something as simple as a single music categorization. We believe these artists and their creative works are of the same nature and caliber, therefore we do not organize them by musical genre.
Instead, we present our content around an artist’s strengths: magical vocalists that enchant the listener; virtuosic musicians that wow and excite; wordsmiths and lyricists that not only make us reflect, but grow.
Essentially, we aim to present artists based on who they are, instead of what they aren’t.
All performances are recorded and filmed in front of a live studio audience at The Breeding Ground NYC — the world’s first recording lounge.

The Breeding Ground NYC recreates the look and feel of an intimate venue while also maintaining the highest-quality standards of a premier recording studio. We invented the recording lounge, a beautiful space that not only provides album-quality recordings, but also enables performers to capture the intimate and synergistic energy of a live performance in front of a captivated audience.
THE CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE
Training our videographers in HighBreedMusic’s signature “cinema verite” style— employing multiple handheld cameras (no tripods!) — our team coordinates their movements and cinematic vocabulary to create an immersive and unparalleled visual journey. That’s why our videos may feel more like an experience and not just another “documented” concert performance. We approach our productions and our craft with the same commitment and passion as the artists do when they are creating their own music to convey the excitement of being right on stage for live-music lovers everywhere to enjoy.
